By my own experience purchasing a handgun for home protection, the background check consists of typing my name into the FBI’S top most wanted list or in some cases, just looking at me and making a quick judment. I understand this is not the case in a lot of different states. But still mandatory ACTUAL background checks should be in place. If you’re not a criminal then it won’t affect you.

I agree our amendments and rights should not be taken. But not many people truly want to take your guns. The actual logical people understand this is infringement of your second amendment. But making it harder for the criminals to obtain a weapon is better. In Ohio where I live. You can go into a gun show and buy a high powered rifle.
